Program Overview

Head to the "Land Down Under" and discover Australia's breathtaking biodiversity and laidback lifestyle. The country's most diverse and cosmopolitan city, Sydney, offers the perfect blend of city, beach, and nature, with hundreds of beaches and national parks nearby. Known for its exciting food, arts, and entertainment scene, Sydney has plenty to keep you busy during this epic summer study abroad program!

When class is in session at CIEE Sydney, you'll spend one six-week block (or up to two blocks) attending classes led by field experts. Outside the classroom, you'll participate in activities, excursions, and co-curricular activities designed to increase your intercultural understanding of The Emerald City. In your free time, you will have ample opportunities to attend one of many cultural events around the city, take a ferry ride to Manly Beach, hike one of the area's 250+ national parks, and much more.

Build Your Summer Adventure
Select one or two six-week blocks at any CIEE Open Campus Block location. Stay in Sydney for both blocks or go mobile and spend your second block in Berlin, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dublin, Kyoto, London, Madrid, Monteverde, Paris, Rome, Santiago, Shanghai, Singapore, or Yucatan.
