Program Overview

Your Summer Intensive Spanish Language program in Buenos Aires lasts 8 weeks, offering an immersive and fast-paced experience for students looking to accelerate their Spanish proficiency. You will enroll in three Spanish language courses, focused on grammar and syntax, oral communication, conversation, and reading and writing. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Argentine culture. Live and learn in Buenos Aires!

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Buenos Aires will open doors for you to explore Argentina's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.  

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Enjoy traditional Argentinian cuisine and savor classic dishes such as empanadas and chocotorta
  • Immerse yourself in the greatest passion of Argentinians by playing a friendly soccer match with locals and fellow students
  • Take an trip to Salta, in northern Argentina, to explore one of the country's first founded cities, its rich history, and its breathtaking landscapes

  • Academic Courses: Take CIEE Spanish courses that improve your Spanish language skills.
  • Immersive Experiences: Participate in activities, excursions, study tours, and more that showcase your host city's culture, values, and local art, film, music, cuisine, and sports scenes.

Financial Information

Policy on Institutional Scholarships
Institutional scholarships are not applied to study abroad costs. We strongly encourage students to apply for scholarships to fund study abroad. Please visit the scholarships page to learn more about scholarships, or see the director of International Education.

For Students Studying Abroad with External Providers during the Spring and Summer 2020 
Morehouse College students will be required to pay our preferred providers directly for all experiences. However, please be advised that we have featured programs from our preferred providers listed on this site, which we have vetted for quality, safety, and cost. While students are not required to choose one of the featured experiences, they are strongly encouraged to do so. Students will enroll at Morehouse. All tuition and fees will be payable to the College. All payments (including financial aid) will be applied to the student’s account at the College and the student will pay the provider directly. Any balance owed to the provider will be the responsibility of the student. Any overpayment to Morehouse College will be refunded.
