Coordinator of Study Abroad

Jeanine D. White
Jeanine D. White is the Coordinator of Study Abroad in the Office of International Education (OIE) at the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership (AYCGL) at Morehouse College. As of September 2019, some of her primary duties include daily management of the college’s study abroad website, providing one-on-one support to college faculty and staff leaders as they develop and implement their study abroad program, collaborating with the Director of International Education to execute campus-wide events and campaigns to increase student interest and participation in study abroad. Additionally, she works directly with the college’s five external program providers to promote their semester and summer study abroad programs, as well as provide group and individual student advisement.
 
Prior to January 2019, Ms. White was a valuable staff member of the Morehouse College, Department of Psychology for over 18 years. Throughout her tenure in Psychology, she provided exceptional service to the faculty and students. Some of her programmatic emphasis included the creation of a scholarship, academic, and research opportunities resource center for psychology majors, an annual community outreach project, an alumni outreach network, the creation of departmental publications, event planning and coordination, and departmental recruitment visit coordination.
 
Ms. White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts from Morris Brown College, is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and is a proud mother of a daughter and a son.
