Jeanine D. White is the Program Coordinator in the Office of International Education at the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership. Some of her primary duties include leading the implementation of activities for the Office of International Education, designing and executing streamlined procedures to advance study abroad at the College, developing and managing campus-wide study abroad campaigns to increase student interest, as well as advising students and tracking their participation in study abroad experiences. Ms. White will also support the four Andrew Young Center institute directors with planning and organizing activities of the Center.
When Ms. White joined the Center in January 2019, she served as the Office Manager for the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership and the Program Assistant for the Oprah Winfrey Scholars Program before moving into her current role.
Prior to January 2019, Ms. White was a valuable member of the Morehouse College, Department of Psychology for over 18 years. Throughout her tenure in Psychology, she provided exceptional service to the faculty and students. Some of her programmatic emphasis included, the creation of a scholarship, academic, and research opportunities resource center for psychology majors, an annual community outreach project, an alumni outreach network, creation of departmental publications, event planning and coordination, and departmental recruitment visit coordination.
Ms. White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts from Morris Brown College, is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and a proud mother of a daughter and a son.
